Zéro de conduite is een POPprogramma op Radio Centraal in Antwerpen. Elke eerste zaterdag van de maand, van 6 tot 8 ’s avonds. Een muzikaal evenement voor allen en voor niemand. Uniek in het universum. Stem af op 106.7 FM.

Je had genoeg van de stad. Ze had je afgemat: het rumoer, de kitsch, de uitlaatgassen, de shoppers, de junkies en dronkaards en het nachtelijk geweld. Het gebrek aan manieren, aan savoir-vivre. Je dacht aan Will Oldhams woorden, “I could fuck a mountain’. Zo kwam het dat je naar de bergen ging, één week, twee weken… Je vergat er de tijd, de dagen. Je was in goed gezelschap. Friedrich Nietzsche, Thomas Mann, Werner Herzog, Percy Shelley. Maar die mannen hadden nog een air van de stad. Je ging naar de hillbillies. Naar Dolly Parton met haar bergluchtstem. Naar Bill Monroe, en de vele bluegrassbroers, de McReynolds, de Stanleys, de Delmores… Je zag er muzikanten hun instrumenten inpluggen en hoorde ze je oren verdoven, maar onder die laag elektriciteit hoorde je nog steeds de ziel van de hillbilly. En zo, met een koffer vol bergliederen, keerde je terug naar de stad, waar je altijd naar bleef verlangen (omdat de stad nooit inslaapt en het er nooit helemaal donker is).
